As I noted in Part 3 Chapter 3, Bill DeBlasio is a useless politician and a terrible leader. I noted his terrible record on crime, but on his way out of office he has implemented another bad policy. De Blasio decided that children from the age of 5-11 must show proof of Covid vaccination to go to restaurants, fitness centers, and other entertainment venues.
The mandate (like De Blasio) is pretty useless. Children are not being affected by Covid. They make up a small percentage of Covid 19 deaths. Most of the deaths come from older populations. As the Heritage foundation “through February 17, 93 percent of COVID-19 deaths nationwide have occurred among those ages 55 or older. Only 0.2 percent were younger than 25.”
It is not a surprise that De Blasio would implement something like this on his way out. Under his watch NYC saw huge increases in crime, while De Blasio did nothing but virtue signal. Well NYC, here is one final virtue signal from De Blasio.
